In the last monthly call, we talked about some ideas for the Kosmos Summit this year. We haven’t had an in-person one since 2021, and even then not all of the core team was present in person. So the idea is to get everyone together again this time (last-minute emergencies notwithstanding).
The result was basically the following options. Let’s have a quick poll for preferences:
Oct 3, in Prague (ahead of HCPP, which is Oct 4-6)
Oct 19(/20), in Prague
Oct 19(/20), somewhere else

Let’s try to confirm a date and/or location in the monthly call today.
I am just bad to commit and don’t know how life looks in October and if I am able to leave, but would love to see you all and will try to make it work for sure.
HCPP is Oct 4 to 6, and people should ideally arrive the day before. So if one wants to do both, that would require taking most of the week off then.
I think if we prepare properly, we can have one structured, productive day (like last time) and then a few more relaxed days with more casual conversations during HCPP. If necessary, we could still set up single follow-up sessions between Friday and Sunday.
1 day is definitely not enough for going in-depth on all topics. So maybe we should intentionally plan for follow-up sessions on the following days from the outset.
Hey,
I have a problem…and I might have to cancel my trip to Prague. This week I got the notice that another close friend of the family was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I might need to (and feel like I need to) help because radiation/chemo starts.
No idea what’s going on there in the last year and why this does not stop.
I am sorry for this short notice, I was so looking for a few days off and meeting you all. I need to see if I can somehow make it only on the 3rd at least.
